Mona Ross Berman

I think it was fate that I accidentally received two issues of the new House Beautiful this month. One to keep and one to plaster my drool all over, thanks to this exuberant ocean-side home designed by Mona Ross Berman and photographed by Jonny Valiant. I can safely say this is my newest dream home, so fresh and vibrant, filled with white and juicy pops of color and pattern. I. Love. It. All. It's just so bright and sunny, so HAPPY. I love happy. I can imagine turning up the stereo and listening to a little "Sound of Sunshine" here. In fact, go play the song in another window and come back for another look at the photos. Your weekend has just started my friends! Enjoy it! :)

Fiddlehead Design Group

A lot style, a lot of function...that's my kind of kitchen. This one designed by Andrea Dixon and Jen Ziemer of Fiddlehead Design Group out of Minneapolis has all that covered and more! The owners of this early twentieth century Victorian home wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home, while adding more storage and better workflow in their kitchen. I love how the designers mixed contemporary elements, like the fab back-painted glass backsplash, with all the traditional elements. And did you see the built-in coffee center?? Lucky ducks! Divine Kitchens

When the owner of this fabulous kitchen begun her renovation, the only thing she wanted was a double oven. (She must not read a lot of design blogs!) But after sitting down with Mariette Barsoum, the owner of Divine Kitchens out of Boston, and Heidi Marika-Perez, Divine's interior designer, she realized she actually wanted a lot more! She craved a spacious room with a modern vibe, infused with bold color. She also wanted to be able to display her collection of original Fiestaware from her grandmother and her many brightly colored Le Creuset pots. To complement them, Perez selected an custom-colored aqua concrete for the large island and watery blue glass tiles for the backsplash. I love how it stretches to the ceiling! Cullman & Kravis

The portfolio of renowned New York design firm Cullman & Kravis features page after page of beautifully luxurious rooms, filled to the brim with impressive art and antique collections. These more relaxed rooms, with their sand and sun color palettes, captured my heart most. I just can't stop looking at that first room. All of that sun pouring in those amazing windows, the blue chairs, and the fabric on that tufted chair...I wish I could be sitting at that table right now! Susie Hoffmann

Looking at this funky loft photographed by Audrey Hall, you might think it's located in some chic downtown area. The home belonging to interior designer Susie Hoffmann of Envi Design is actually in Bozeman, Montana of all places. She says the area surrounding the converted 1930s flour mill used to be pretty gritty, but is starting to get hipper. "It's kind of like the Brooklyn of Bozeman". She did an awesome job of fusing a kitchen, dining and living rooms, office and even a guest nook into one relatively small space. Tracery Interiors

One of my most favorite spaces ever is this Southern Living Idea House that I featured a couple years back. All that orange and aqua...be still my heart! I was excited to discover a few different photos of the home in the portfolio of Tracery Interiors. The beach-side home is so light and airy, the cheery colors and fun patterns are just the icing on the cake. I can imagine this space being perfect for family gatherings. What kids wouldn't enjoy bedtime when they're tucked away in their own private bunk?! La Samanna Villas

Wow! You guys gave us some amazing ideas yesterday!! Thanks a million for all of your feedback, we so appreciate it! So many of you said how incredible the Caribbean is. I'd die, I swear to you, being somewhere like the La Samanna Villas on the island of St Martin. The extraordinary view of the Caribbean Sea would be the end of me! Not only is the view breathtaking, but the interiors designed by Marc Michaels are so elegantly comfortable, I can't believe it's not someone's home. I love how our favorite color is paired with oranges, reds, pinks and greens...for "a true Caribbean spirit"! If that is the spirit of the Caribbean, I'm so there!
