I just love these easy breezy rooms with their sand and sky colors and comfy furniture. I am absolutely smitten with the club chairs in the last photo with that great suzani fabric. Fiddlehead Design Group

A lot style, a lot of function...that's my kind of kitchen. This one designed by Andrea Dixon and Jen Ziemer of Fiddlehead Design Group out of Minneapolis has all that covered and more! The owners of this early twentieth century Victorian home wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home, while adding more storage and better workflow in their kitchen. I love how the designers mixed contemporary elements, like the fab back-painted glass backsplash, with all the traditional elements. And did you see the built-in coffee center?? Lucky ducks! Bonesteel Trout Hall

There's something to be said about the clean, earthy, colorful textures of the coast. In my book, no one interprets it better than the design firm Bonesteel Trout Hall, whose style epitomizes the laid back glamour of the California lifestyle. I absolutely adore their serene rooms filled with watery blues and greens. But just how fun are the rooms with more punchy color?? I'm loving every.single.photo! Eileen Marcuvitz

With the talent of Boston-based architect James Cullion and interior designer Eileen Marcuvitz, this Newport, Rhode Island home photographed by Robert Benson was inspired by a majestic oak tree and built to take full advantage of the home’s breathtaking water views. They used a palette of misty blues with hints of sea and sky to bring the outside inside. I love the symmetry in the home and the use of arches throughout...especially the front entrance outside. Gorgeous! The whole vibe is welcoming, but also clean and elegant. You can read all about the space and finish the tour at New England Home!

Cottage Charm

This delightful cottage featured in Better Homes & Gardens is light and bright, filled with the perfect amount of blissful blues. The owners did a fantastic job of mixing rustic with the refined, and using vintage goods and repurposed pieces. I'm getting some serious inspiration from these photos. See those cute curtains in the bedrooms? Yeah...shower curtains...from Target. And I spy a DwellStudio for Target pillow on the bed too. (I'm a big Target fan, if you can't tell!) Divine Kitchens

When the owner of this fabulous kitchen begun her renovation, the only thing she wanted was a double oven. (She must not read a lot of design blogs!) But after sitting down with Mariette Barsoum, the owner of Divine Kitchens out of Boston, and Heidi Marika-Perez, Divine's interior designer, she realized she actually wanted a lot more! She craved a spacious room with a modern vibe, infused with bold color. She also wanted to be able to display her collection of original Fiestaware from her grandmother and her many brightly colored Le Creuset pots. To complement them, Perez selected an custom-colored aqua concrete for the large island and watery blue glass tiles for the backsplash. I love how it stretches to the ceiling!
