Drexel Heritage

Welcome to the wonderful world that is High Point Market! This set of photos I took was from my favorite space in the Drexel Heritage showroom. I seriously wanted to plunk down and call it home. Isn't the fresh mix of patterns and colors fantastic?? Drexel Heritage was actually one of the companies that sponsored my trip out there, so we got a really great tour of their fabulously styled showroom. (And I mean fab-u-lous!) I was not familiar with them beforehand, so I was like a sponge taking it all in. They are all about personalization, offering their customers a ton of great options with fabric, finishes and hardware. Take that gorgeous Stewart Poster Bed for example...it's available in 23 finishes, including two very pretty turquoisey ones! I don't know about you, but I'll take this room "as is"! I can't wait to show you more!

Nicola Manganello

I absolutely adore this fresh country kitchen designed by Nicola Manganello of Nicola’s Homes! The butter-yellow cabinetry and exposed ceiling beams make it feel so cozy, not to mention the blue sky overhead! I love how the island incorporates the bench seat, such great use of space. And I can't get over the fab chandelier and range hood! The bedroom is just as cozy...love the peaceful palette and comfy furnishings! The shower is pretty sweet too! Seriously, much to love! Check out more of Nicola's work and for info on her Portland, Maine boutique, head right here!

Chris Barrett Design

It's Mad Men...with a twist! I love how designer Chris Barrett used the same vibrant complementary colors throughout this entire Manhattan Beach home for a cohesive look that's fun and inviting. So much great retro furniture here...those turquoise lounge chairs are so cool! I'm really loving the artwork, especially the poolside photograph by Slim Aarons in the dining room. Oh, the dining room. That's my favorite...the juicy colors, awesome chairs, fab chandelier! See more of this home photographed by Karyn Millet right over here!

Polhemus Savery DaSilva

Another coastal home in Massachusetts...shocking I know! Like I said on Friday, I'm super obsessed. This light-filled home designed by Polhemus Savery DaSilva and photographed by Brian Vanden Brink is brimming with fresh, cheery color and I love it. I wish I knew the paint color of the kitchen cabinets...it's so pretty how it changes color like that. I think it's so cool how relaxed the dining room is too. Such cute fabric on those dining chairs! To finish the tour of this house, head right over here!

I'm Back!

What a dream the last few days were. Our trip to Mass. was fantastic! We were so surprised how big Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket were. Oh my goodness, the countryside!! That's what surprised us the most. Of course it was cute house overload, everywhere you looked were the most darling shingled-style homes. I told Chris, this is like Pinterest, in real life!

I have a lot to catch up on and have to run to pick up Gertie from the dog-sitter, so I'm just going to leave you with these teaser photos I took on Cape Code in Chatham.

Chatham...talk about THE perfect place to spend my birthday!! *sigh*

Caitlin Creer Interiors

This serene yet fresh and modern living room designed by Caitlin Creer out of Salt Lake City all began with Schumacher's Avebury Floral Vine gracing the pillow on the fab tufted sofa. A perfect complement to Benjamin Moore's Palladian Blue at 75% on the walls (one of my favorites)! So many other great details like the the cozy window seat with all the colorful pillows from Etsy, the striking black spool chair and the gorgeous fireplace with its amazing fretwork detail. The gorgeous millwork, mantles, and paneling were all designed by Steve Tiek and built through Tiek Built Homes. Benjamin Blackwelder, who did all the work on that Dream Home Tour you all loved so much, was responsible for the cabinetry and built-ins. What a dream team! François Halard

Golden slumbers fill your eyes! This beautiful bedroom photographed by François Halard for Vogue is entirely fit for a queen! I am in love with the stunning fabric draping the bed. The hand-screened Garden Pattern fabric was designed by Sandra Loveland Bragdon for her 41-year-old Hungry Palette shop in Stonington Borough, Connecticut. Imagine waking each morning in such a magnificent cocoon of glorious color!

Angie Hranowsky

A brief look into the portfolio of Charleston-based Angie Hranowsky Design Studio will quickly tell you one thing: Angie loves color. And not just any color...a bold use of color, in delicious combos you don't see everyday. These two homes represent only a little bit of the eye candy, but I just loved them for their relaxed modern style and summery color palettes. The rest of her photos are just as yummy, so head on over here for more!
