Soooooo pretty. Can't you just hear the waves outside those windows?? Laura Ocampo designed this light-filled seaside home in the countryside of Uruguay to reflect the coolness of the sea and relaxed atmosphere of the countryside. I'm loving everything in that first room...the flowy white curtains, the pretty purple toile, the painted white floors and ceiling, and the soothing aqua on the walls. Cool in the Kitchen

A cook's dream come true! Ok, even a person who just likes to bake the occasional batch of cookies dream come true (that'd be moi)! This kitchen from the October issue of Homes & Gardens and designed by Toni Silver at Mark Wilkinson Furniture really stores it all in style. I'd love to have a walk-in pantry to hide all my stuff. And the mix of open shelving looks great too, as does the purple on the lower cabinets. But seriously people...the backsplash...the color on that tile is droolworthy!

Designed by the uber-talented Margot Austin and captured by photographer Donna Griffith, I just adore all the colors used in the space. What teenage girl wouldn't love to call this room her own?? What with that dreamy bed, practical work area, and cheery little sitting area by the window?! Perfection!

A Welcome Sight

Simplygrove had this gorgeous image on her blog yesterday. I adore the tufted bench...all the detailing, and the color is just so pretty. I wouldn't think to put it with an aqua color, but it looks so good. I don't know about that kitten print though....kinda freaks me out!

The Eclectic Curio Coffeehouse

I love the eggplant and turquoise interior of The Eclectic Curio Coffeehouse located in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Recently opened in December, this coffeehouse not only serves up tasty drinks and treats, but the shop also features unique vintage, retro, and antique items for sale throughout the store. How fun! Check out their etsy shop filled with all sorts of their funky finds.
