Lesli DeVito of the blog My Old Country House and I are totally on the same wavelength. We are all about the turquoise and pink. Turquoise or pink in the form of a fab chevron print?? We'll take it! Recently Lesli reupholstered her old sofa in the the prettiest aqua zig zag fabric (for less than $7.50 a yard!) I LOOOOVE the results...it totally makes the space! I was sure that was enough joy for one room, but then Lesli scored (among other things) that yummy pink Missoni pouf ottoman from Target. (I copied her and bought 0ne in aqua after she said how amazing it is in real life.) Don't you absolutely adore her pink cabinet too??? That's insta-smile material! You guys definitely need to head to Lesli's blog...it's filled with so much inspiration you'll be followers in no time. Oh and talk about happy, let me introduce you to Lesli's awesome paintings! Love!!

Total turquoise bliss! Designer Kathleen DiPaolo of Pacific Family Homes out of Newport Beach, CA gifted us with this double delight. Two sisters, twins to be exact, have the pleasure of calling these beautiful rooms their own. How drop-dead are the beds Kathleen designed (complete with hidden trundles) using Quadrille's "Pina" fabric?! If they weren't quite enough to make you fall head over heels, then I'm sure the dreamy grasscloth wallcoverings from Phillip Jefferies (Burmuda Hemp in Turquoise) certainly did! I love that she found the lamps and yellow chinoiserie chests on Etsy. The other adorable side tables belonged to the little girl's mother and grandmother. Oh, see in the last photo on the left?? Those are framed casts from one of many daredevil escapades!! Love it!

The Fancy Farm Girl

You know someone creative, fun, and downright feminine was behind this adorable little trailer! Seattle photographer Tiffany Kirchner-Dixon with a super cute blog aptly titled The Fancy Farm Girl received the 1959 trailer nicknamed Audree as a Mother's day gift this year, and began with the mere intention of sprucing it up. Fate wouldn't have it and the project quickly gained momentum. (That happens so easily, doesn't it?) She redid everything from the interior and exterior paint, new lighting, new door knobs and hardware, and accessorized it like no other trailer has seen. Oh how I LOVE it! There are lots of fun vintage finds, but many original items inside too, like the enamel icebox, the 1950's gray speckled flooring and the yummy aqua counter tops. The pink and aqua family room in this East Hampton home designed by Jonathan Rosen has been a long-standing favorite of mine. In fact it was part of the inspiration for our wedding color scheme! The space was featured in House Beautiful back in 2006, but when I recently found additional photos I knew I'd have to share! I love how they brought the cheery color palette into the kitchen!

Ingrid Fretheim Interiors

I'm battling some sort of bug today, but I couldn't help but share this stunning sunroom designed by Ingrid Fretheim Interiors and photographed by Emily Minton Redfield that graces the recent cover of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles. Just looking at it instantly perked me up and made my happy! The focal point is obviously the brilliant Matti Berglund painting commissioned by the homeowner. Love all that color! Tracy Rivers

If only every granddaughter could be so lucky!! Can you imagine the fun designer and artist Tracy Rivers of Little Rock's Angelfish Studios must have had when creating this luxury retreat for a 7-year old girl? Since it's not an everyday room for her, her grandparents wanted the space to be over the top, where she can be inspired during her visits. The walls are incredible here...hand-troweled Venetian plaster with a sparkly scroll design painted on the walls. And talk about shimmer, the tiles on the floor in the bathroom and miniature tiles in the shower are pearlescent with glitter grout. Glitter grout! Bonesteel Trout Hall

There's something to be said about the clean, earthy, colorful textures of the coast. In my book, no one interprets it better than the design firm Bonesteel Trout Hall, whose style epitomizes the laid back glamour of the California lifestyle. I absolutely adore their serene rooms filled with watery blues and greens. But just how fun are the rooms with more punchy color?? I'm loving every.single.photo!
