Imagine the delight in discovering the Karen Robertson Collection at High Point Market! Seeing these breathtaking display of treasures immediately took my breath away. Talk about sophisticated, chic beachy art. The hand-tinted sea fans suspended in glass are incredible in person. Well really all of it is...I could have lingered for hours! Don't you love the fabric here? It's all from Karen's new fabric line available in the spring featuring nautical patterns and fabulous colors. Learn more about Karen's nature inspired designs here. Coastal Living's Ultimate Beach House - Part 1

I've been devouring Tria Giovan's heavenly photos of Coastal Living's Ultimate Beach House designed by Phoebe Howard over breakfast for the last few weeks and each morning I discover fantastic new details! It was insta-love with the blue subway tile in the kitchen, but I think it's great how they chose fumed oak cabinets for the bottom and white painted cabinets for the top. The living room and dining are straight up coastal cool with the crisp navy and white stripes against the calm backdrop of Pratt and Lambert's Hesperia on the walls. I love how she used banquettes instead of chairs too! And how about that fab paddle mirror?!? I have no idea where it's from, but I saw a similar aqua one when we were in Nantucket in a cute shop called Anderson's Fine Gifts. Anyone have any idea where else you can get one??

Liz Carroll Interiors

It feels like forever since I've shared a boy's room featuring our favorite color! Why should girls have all the fun? Well I know for certain one little guy who is loving his new big-boy room. His mom is Liz Carroll, an interior designer in Wilmington, NC. I love the upbeat color scheme she chose to bring some happy energy to his room, photographed here by Allison Breiner. What kid wouldn't dig the bunkbeds and all the great built-ins?! And of course those fun bean bag chairs covered in Trina Turk's Sonriza Print from Schumacher and Jonathan Adler's awesome Giraffe Lamp! I'm loving the fabric she chose for the window treatments as well (Outdura Fabric in Aquatic and Natural White). They look great against Thibaut's (scrubbable!) Harbour Linen Wallpaper in Beige. Remember that fantastic orange and turquoise showhouse bedroom last week designed by Porter Design Company? Designer Lauren Guarcello serves us another tasty treat with this home, filled with a fresh approach and fabulous fabrics! I'm loving the burst of turquoise on the chair upholstered in Quadrille's Nitik II from China Seas. Looks so great next to that navy sofa trimmed in green! Be still my heart! Can you see why Lynn Morgan Design is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites?? I mean her entire portfolio is filled with gems like this Darien, CT home. The medley of blues is so pleasing to the eye, I can't get enough. The fantastic fabric selections and comfy furniture just top it all off! Yes, I'll take it all please. Hazardous Design

I feel like we never see enough of Schumacher's Chiang Mai Dragon in China Blue. Here is it, downright breathtaking in this gorgeous powder room belonging to Carrie and Chris of the blog Hazardous Design. They are in the process of renovating their 1886 New England home on Hazard Ave one room at a time. Since they moved in one year ago, they have tackled some big projects and have been detailing them all on their blog. It's super inspiring! You have to see this post for the before pics on this bathroom. You'll see just how far the space has come and love it THAT much more!

There is no question that I am currently obsessed with this combination! Aside from being out on the water on a perfectly sunny day, there's nothing quite like filling a room with the cheerful combo of turquoise, yellow and blue. How could you not be in a perpetual good mood?! In fact I think I'm going to have to invest in some more yellow pieces for my wardrobe...spread the good cheer wherever I go! :)

I could spend hours sifting through the portfolio of Phoebe Howard. It seems every time I get drawn into her dreamy world I discover something new. I recently read a Q&A in the Washington Post where Phoebe talked about her design philosophies. A hallmark of her style is the use of color in a monochromatic way. Even if the colors are vibrant, when you limit color contrast, it brings a sense of calm, order and serenity to a room. She even shared some of her favorite paint colors: Benjamin Moore's Glass Slipper (one of my favorites too), Healing Aloe, Vale Mist, Cream Fleece, and Winter Wheat.
