Turquoise and Cream Kitchen

So simple, but oh so pretty! This delightful kitchen in an early-19th century home located in Berkshire, England was featured in 25 Beautiful Homes. The combination of aqua (Aqua Blue by Neptune) and cream (Calico by Neptune) is so fresh here, very pretty with all the rustic wood. The reclaimed pine flooring is so beautiful, and I just love all the light pouring in from the french doors!

I love the simple, clean lines and muted color palettes of these rooms by Houston-based interior designer Ashley Goforth. Each one is timeless and classic...and incredibly cozy. Southern Highlands Reader's Home

Oh to call this home! The serene space actually belongs to my reader Ali, who lives in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales (about 2 hours south of Sydney). Ali is a stay-at-home mom of 3 little ones (in addition to being an aspiring designer!) who is obsessed with the bluey/greeny/grey colors we all can't get enough of. They recently built the home of their dreams in the country, but sadly have to move back to the city for a wider choice of schools for their son with Aspergers Syndrome. Colorful Victorian Home

One of my favorite homes from October's issue of 25 Beautiful Homes was this colorful Victorian in York photographed by Jeremy Phillips. That hand-glazed tile in the kitchen is incredible, it really swings the bland scale way over in the other direction. And the guest bedroom...so much to love there. You already know how I live for canopy beds, but throw in some bold turquoise wallpaper and I'm a total goner. I'm loving the fabric on the chair, pillows and valance too. Pampered guests, I'd say!
