Catskills Cottage

Ever since I was a little girl, I've always dreamed of having a tiny little cottage in the country. I imagine it to look a lot like this. A New York couple spent 7 months renovating this cute 700 sq ft cottage, which was their first home purchase. I bet it was a dream come true for them too! Barry Dixon

And today we're off to St. Barts to visit this drop. dead. gorgeous. space designed by Barry Dixon, and captured so beautifully by photographer Edward Addeo. The inside is just incredible, love that loft! But I don't think I've ever seen an outdoor space I love as much as this one. Those awnings are stunning, and I'd seriously KILL to have a little gazebo space like the first image. And the views don't hurt a bit either! What a dream!

Molly Frey Design (& my bedroom!)

Feel like taking a mini-vacation to a friend's coastal home?? Just head over to the portfolio of Molly Frey Design! Need some inspiration or ideas?? She also has a really cool blog waiting for you too. You might recognize some of Molly's work...she's responsible for that "effervescent bathroom" you all loved, as well as the stunning "heavenly kitchen" I posted about back in June. I was excited to learn that Molly is from Marblehead, MA, a charming little coastal town where my cousin and his family live. I've never been, but have been dying to go there for a visit!

I first learned of photographer Adriano Bacchella from Danielle of Style-Files. He is the talented eye behind all of these captivating images from Casa Zeus on the island of Filicudi, Italy. Just one more place to add to my "must visit" list. I can't even imagine staying somewhere like this....I don't think I'd ever manage to leave! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! :)

I am loving the comfy, cozy and cool vibe of this home shot by photographer James Salomon. It automatically brings me to the middle of the summer (I swear I even just heard that cute screen door shut!) I think the bedroom is my favorite...the blue and green color scheme is so refreshing. A few days ago Brooke of Velvet & Linen had one fantastic post all about Windsor Smith, including a great interview and fab-fab photos (a must-read after you leave here)! I saw this picture on The Paris Apartment, and it instantly took my breath away. These stairs go straight to Heaven, I'm sure of it.

Number 6

I found this AMAZING door on weheartit and wish I could some more info on it. Do any of you know its origin? I've never seen anything like it, but I heart it (how appropriate!).

Edit: A HUGE thanks to Nay-K for finding us more on this breathtaking Art Nouveau door! She even found more photos, and now I love it even more. It's located in Brussels, 6 Rue du Lac. Check out flickr for lots more pictures. I'll put a few below. Just too lovely!
