When I look at these images from the portfolio of Los Angeles-based designer Kristen Panitch, I don't see some of the cutest rooms ever, I see life. The kids rooms feel so magical, so real and happy! Even the living areas are so kid-friendly, I can just see the families enjoying every inch of these rooms. The colors, the patterns, the layers, the lighting, the fabrics, the toys and crayons...I just love all of it. And I just have to say, that has to be one of the best kitchens I've ever laid my eyes on. Lots more waiting for you right over here!

Seldom Scene Interiors + Plush Pumpkin Winner!

Ever since our vacation out east, I'm (more so than usual) obsessed with the houses there. Glimpses of the interiors are so much more gratifying now! I am loving this vibrant Nantucket pool house designed by Wendy Valliere of Seldom Scene Interiors. All the breezy turquoise (love those stripes!) and fresh green would make for a great place to escape and simply have fun! I'm still going through all the photos from our own fun trip but should have some ready to share with you guys next week!

Liz Carroll Interiors

It feels like forever since I've shared a boy's room featuring our favorite color! Why should girls have all the fun? Well I know for certain one little guy who is loving his new big-boy room. His mom is Liz Carroll, an interior designer in Wilmington, NC. I love the upbeat color scheme she chose to bring some happy energy to his room, photographed here by Allison Breiner. What kid wouldn't dig the bunkbeds and all the great built-ins?! And of course those fun bean bag chairs covered in Trina Turk's Sonriza Print from Schumacher and Jonathan Adler's awesome Giraffe Lamp! I'm loving the fabric she chose for the window treatments as well (Outdura Fabric in Aquatic and Natural White). They look great against Thibaut's (scrubbable!) Harbour Linen Wallpaper in Beige. Total turquoise bliss! Designer Kathleen DiPaolo of Pacific Family Homes out of Newport Beach, CA gifted us with this double delight. Two sisters, twins to be exact, have the pleasure of calling these beautiful rooms their own. How drop-dead are the beds Kathleen designed (complete with hidden trundles) using Quadrille's "Pina" fabric?! If they weren't quite enough to make you fall head over heels, then I'm sure the dreamy grasscloth wallcoverings from Phillip Jefferies (Burmuda Hemp in Turquoise) certainly did! I love that she found the lamps and yellow chinoiserie chests on Etsy. The other adorable side tables belonged to the little girl's mother and grandmother. Oh, see in the last photo on the left?? Those are framed casts from one of many daredevil escapades!! Love it!

Golden slumbers fill your eyes! This beautiful bedroom photographed by François Halard for Vogue is entirely fit for a queen! I am in love with the stunning fabric draping the bed. The hand-screened Garden Pattern fabric was designed by Sandra Loveland Bragdon for her 41-year-old Hungry Palette shop in Stonington Borough, Connecticut. Imagine waking each morning in such a magnificent cocoon of glorious color!

Mona Ross Berman

I think it was fate that I accidentally received two issues of the new House Beautiful this month. One to keep and one to plaster my drool all over, thanks to this exuberant ocean-side home designed by Mona Ross Berman and photographed by Jonny Valiant. I can safely say this is my newest dream home, so fresh and vibrant, filled with white and juicy pops of color and pattern. I. Love. It. All. It's just so bright and sunny, so HAPPY. I love happy. I can imagine turning up the stereo and listening to a little "Sound of Sunshine" here. In fact, go play the song in another window and come back for another look at the photos. Your weekend has just started my friends! Enjoy it! :)

Where do I even start with this serene home designed by Endia Veerman of Morph Interior Design and photographed by Nancy Nolan? Maybe with the soothing blue, khaki and cream color palette used throughout the home? The master bedroom (painted Sherwin-Williams’ Silver Mist) is fit for a queen, while the girls' room (painted Sherwin-Williams’ Rain) is a total dream for any girl. Love that cabinetry! Tracy Rivers

If only every granddaughter could be so lucky!! Can you imagine the fun designer and artist Tracy Rivers of Little Rock's Angelfish Studios must have had when creating this luxury retreat for a 7-year old girl? Since it's not an everyday room for her, her grandparents wanted the space to be over the top, where she can be inspired during her visits. The walls are incredible here...hand-troweled Venetian plaster with a sparkly scroll design painted on the walls. And talk about shimmer, the tiles on the floor in the bathroom and miniature tiles in the shower are pearlescent with glitter grout. Glitter grout!
