Armonia Decors

I was instantly smitten with LA-based designer Emily Ruddo of Armonia Decors when I saw her fabulous work popping up on so many of my favorite blogs over the last couple weeks. Like so many of us, Emily gravitates towards blue, and uses the coast and water as inspiration in many of her designs. She is a big fan of creating spaces where people feel harmonious and calm, but more importantly, better about themselves when they are in them. (Love that.) The right blends of color are usually a part of her equation, as you can see from these amazing photos taken by photographer Meghan Beierle-O'Brien. Ooh la la!

You just don't see stuff like this here in the States. Straight out of France, this home featured in Campagne Décoration is storybook beautiful. I can't even imagine eating dinner at that dining table, surrounded by the aqua-painted eighteenth century woodwork. Don't even get me started on a soak in that tub! And that armoire is killing me! Lonny & Eileen Kathryn Boyd

Obviously I'm really digging the most recent Lonny. First we had Monday's home, now we have this festive home belonging to color enthusiast and interior designer Eileen Kathryn Boyd. The pink holiday trimmings look so yummy with the Benjamin Moore Seaside Resort on the living room walls. The green shelves (BM Rosemary Green) are a fun touch too! Eileen said she wanted to create a happy, fun place for her kids, and I'd say she did exactly that! Definitely head over to Lonny because there's lots more you don't want to miss. Lonny & Angèle Parlange

Imagine my absolute delight when I saw this Manhattan home belonging to writer and designer Angèle Parlange featured in the recent issue of Lonny. It's pure heaven for any turquoise lover! The fabulous space actually used to one of my design idols, Steven Gambrel. He is the one responsible for the lovely Benjamin Moore Dophin's Cove in the bedroom framed with the green border (BM Mint Julep) and glossy black doors. I'm completely smitten with the antique desk in the living room that Angèle had covered in pink leather. And does that funky white coffee table remind anyone else of that Pink Ruffle Cake from Martha Stewart?
